Description:
Think of the CIVIVI Imperium as an evolution of the popular Elementum with sports car style and an aerodynamic front flipper design. Great for dress carry while being utilitarian for EDC the Imperium is a winning design with plenty to offer. This version comes with a stonewashed Nitro-V stainless steel blade and silvery shred with shredded carbon fiber resin handles. Brand new, direct from CIVIVI Knives. Blade: Made from stonewashed Nitro-V stainless steel, the blade comes in a flat ground drop point that is streamlined and utilitarian. A nearly full length swedge enhances piercing performance and visual appeal. The caged ceramic ball bearing makes for smooth operation and fast deployment via the extended front flipper tab or dual thumb studs. The front flipper is equipped with jimping for secure purchase and traction on the spine when open. Handle: Skeletonized black stainless steel liners support stunning shredded carbon fiber silvery shred resin scales that are contoured for comfort and milled with a faux bolster line for a classic look. Simple and sleek, the handles are comfortable in multiple grips and make for a fast draw. One liner is cut with a simple and effective liner lock mechanism delivering safe use. Construction is completed with black Torx hardware and a G10 partial back spacer with inline lanyard pin. Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip. Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is essentially AEB-L with a dash of Nitrogen and Vanadium thrown in for enhanced performance. What you get is a very fine-grained steel that is easy to sharpen, has moderate edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. This is one of the tougher stainless steels.
