Description:
The original OSS Lapel knife was designed as a last-ditch defensive tool that operatives could easily conceal in the lapels of their jackets. Now WE Knives and custom maker Justin Lundquist have teamed up to offer their own modern take on this classic defensive tool. A chisel ground CPM-20CV blade paired with G10 single scale deliver solid performance while the well-designed Kydex sheath system offers a variety of discreet carry options. This version comes with a stonewashed blade and orange G10 scale. Brand new, direct from WE Knife Co. Blade: With a full tang construction the blade is simple and effective: chisel ground and stonewashed 20CV is delivered with dual razor sharp cutting edges with a central fuller for style. The chisel grind enhances durability and cutting performance and makes for easy sharpening with a fine, piercing tip. Handle: Inlaid into the tang, the flush G10 scale is no thicker than the tang itself for slim carry. The tang side show G10 ridges in the milled thumb pocket and lanyard hole. The opposite side is coarse textured with both maker and manufacturer logos milled in for added traction. Jimping on the sides with flares at both ends enhances safety on this minimalist handle design. Carries via a molded Kydex sheath with Molle Lok clip attachment. CPM 20CV: CPM 20CV is a highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, an analog to Bohler's M390, and offers some of the best corrosion resistance and wear resistance in combination with a relative ease of sharpening. These properties along with a working hardness in the low 60s HRC make 20CV a prime choice among custom and production makers.
