Description:
From the mind of Matthew Christensen of Christensen Knifeworks, the WE Knives Thug is a custom designed, high-end production knife with attitude to spare. A stout 4 mm Tanto blade comes in under three inches and pairs with the solid titanium frame lock construction to deliver a tank-like folder that carries like a dream. This version comes with a hand rubbed satin, CPM-20CV blade and brushed gray titanium handles. Brand new, direct from WE Knife Co. Blade: Made from premium CPM-20CV stainless steel the compound ground, recurve Tanto has a hand rubbed satin finish for a stunning look on this striking blade. A flat ground tip with spine swedge offers a durable piercing point while the hollow ground recurve is a slicing machine. A ceramic bearing pivot makes the action fast and smooth with ambidextrous deployment via the dual thumb studs. Handle: Dual, solid titanium handle slabs are contoured for comfort and have a gray brushed finish that complements the blade. Bronze anodized pivot collars deliver a subtle color contrast with the reverse serving as an over travel stop. Steel lock face equipped titanium frame lock operation is smooth, solid and reliable for security in use. A partial back spacer with inline lanyard pin rounds out the construction along with all titanium hardware. Carries via a right hand, tip-up, 3D titanium clip. CPM-20CV: CPM-20CV (analog to Bohler M390 and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
