This is without a doubt the best knife I've ever owned. Rock solid build! Love the fact that ZT will sharpen the knife for free for life. And replacement blades only cost 30 dollars. And this thing comes absolutely razor sharp and should stay that way for a good while considering they used CPM 20CV steel, which is among the best steel there is.As you can see, I've modified mine a little. I put glow in the dark carbon fiber scales on it and grit blasted the blue anodized coating off to reveal the gray titanium underneath. What can I say, I like the personalized look.

    This is my first ZT knife and out of the box my first impressions are excellent. The flipper opening is easy to use and fully deploys the blade effortlessly. There are plenty of other Hinderer knives to choose from in the ZT collection but this one stood out due to it's two tone Spanto blade which looks incredible. Compared to the cheap knives on the market it never fails to impress what quality steel looks and feels like. The blade is made of 20CV steel and I will update my review over time comment about it's long term performance.

    The frame locking mechanism is easy to use and only requires one finger to unlock the blade. The titanium frame is impressive with it's anodized blue color. BTW, the two tone blade and blue frame are one of the big reasons I purchased this model. It has both form and function. In other words it is an outstanding looking folding knife. The G10 grips are a nice addition to improve grip on the frame handle. The pocket clip is positioned well and allows the knife to sit deep enough to sit in my pocket relatively unnoticed.

    Lastly, this is a substantial knife. It has some heft to it, but not too much; just within the "just right" range. Some might like this knife as an EDC, others might want a smaller version, it just depends on how you plan to use it. If you are looking for a knife to open your Amazon boxes, then this is overkill, but for hunting, camping, or a "just in case" knife, then you found the right one.

    Edit: aging like a fine wine. This knife has the best fidget factor of any knife I own. On last count I have over 40. I have maybe 5 or 6 that I spent more money on, and they don't beat this knife at anything, really
    The G-10 inlays serve two purposes. One, it improves the handle grip. 2 is it stops u from putting pressure against the lock that can cause it to not deploy. It also looks sharp and feels almost like carbon fiber.

    Opening is a bit hard and closing is like most lock blades. Benchmade has an easier open and close button and works smoothly with no hang ups. The knife is razor sharp and a delight to use other than the weight and opening and closing difficulties. I have not had it long enough to rate the edge holding quality but I am hoping it out weighs the operating system.

    The 0393 is the 3rd ZT knife that I have purchased and it is an awesome knife. The blade is centered perfectly within the frame of the knife when closed, couldn’t ask for a better quality steel for the blade than CPM 20CV and NO quality imperfections at all. The knife feels well balanced within my hand and ergonomically fits well too. The G10 scales have the right texture in your hand to NOT slip when using the knife for heavy duty purposes. The only reason this knife has an overall rating of 4 stars is because SOMEONE rated the knife at 1 star because this person stated that it has a liner lock when in fact this knife is a FRAME LOCK. This person also said that the 0393 is considerably less substantial than the 0562 and it is due to the body of the 0393 being crafted from entirely out of titanium. If you appreciate well crafted knifes and don’t mind paying extra then you will NOT be sorry purchasing the 0393.

I can't even try to break this one in because the release is so stiff. My finger started hurting after a few attempts. After you get it open this is a 5 star but one of the main points of a flipper is to be able to open it with one hand and one finger flipping. I would add without pain should be a primary goal.

    I really like the knife but I need to wait from zero tolerance to response back.. they need to send me a new one or something. if not I'm going to ask for my refund.

    The coloring of the handle and contrast of the black and silver blade is assume. The blade is wicked sharp! I would of given it a 5 star but my blade came with an imperfection on it. Its a great knife!
