review is for the medium size.obviously, what you need in a "day bag" depends on what you plan on doing that day. but this bag offers a good value proposition for a certain set of use cases. photo depicts a small haul from the farmer's market that i took on bicycle. lower center of gravity, and unimpeded airflow over my back, are both big pluses on a bike.carrying loads on your hips will always be more comfortable than on your shoulders. and traditional backpacks in the 10L range mostly come with pretty flimsy hip belts, often no more than bare webbing. this belt is wide and mildly padded, and comfortable enough to really cinch down to fully support the load."but with 10L capacity, how much load could you possibly even carry? why not just a traditional backpack?" a few reasons. a prosumer camera, insulated water bottle, keys, phone, and a snack, for example, will tip the scales pretty quickly. then there's general comfort; mitigating back-swamp; and ease of gear access. secure the pack on your rear, and sling the shoulder strap diagonally across your chest. need something in a hurry? undo the buckle, swing the bag to your front, access your gear. then swing the bag rearwards and resecure the belt. the bag has never left your person, and is far easier to manipulate than a backpack, especially when wearing multiple layers up top. i'm not currently, nor aspiring to be, an endurance athlete, so i don't value "hydration pack compatibility" very highly. if i'm thirsty, odds are i won't mind also taking 5.if you're just taking a short jaunt, the bag can be carried like a normal shoulder bag with the waist belt tucked away.why not 5 stars?firstly, style. this bag is advertised as a range bag. i'm sure it's adequate in that capacity, and maybe i will use it as such in the future. but stylistically, this thing is the epitome of tacti-cosplay. that may be a plus or minus for you. the most discreetly-styled competitor with a near-identical feature set is the mountain hardwear, costing several times as much, so the choice was pretty clear for me.secondly, the multitude of zips and webbing can be a bit much. this bag is designed as if you're going to need to lash on like 10 extra pounds of gear to it. if you think that's going to be a recurring need, this is not the right size or style of pack for you. i immediately ditched the top elastic tie-down, and will probably change the color of the main zipper pulls for ease of identification. depending on how you've oriented the dual-zips of the various compartments, the zipper pulls become a veritable rat's nest (second photo). compartments = good. not being able to differentiate them easily = not so good.lastly, reliability is, as yet, unknown. it was my sole carry-on for a recent international flight, and it was used every day of an 8-day itinerary. it basically still looks brand new. all stitching in high-wear points still looks intact, and zippers have not ever snagged. but time will tell.

I had another word for BUTT, that started with A and ended with ss, in the first attempt, but Amaczar refused it. They sent me an email asking me to edit it and resubmit. When I tried to edit it, the entire thing was deleted and has to be completely rewritten. I guess playing semantics is ok for them, but not for me.

    Moving on,

I bought this bag because it's advertised as a, among other things, fanny pack. When I received it, it was huge. Still is, come to think of it. About the only fanny that could support this bag would be a Kardashian. I like the bag, a lot. I think it would work well as a hiking pack for a day or a catch and eat type of camper. If you're one of those youtubers that likes to wander off into the woods with nothing but a small pack and a tarp for a tent, or no tent at all, this might serve you well as a carry all.
But, like I said, it's huge. So I bought a pair H harness type suspenders and a few other accessories for it. I was trying to adjust the harness and wanted to tighten the belt, on the bag. When I did, the top prong of the three pronged male waist buckle took a short and disheartening flight to the floor, leaving its' two comrades to continue on without it. Obviously this was less than stellar. I ended up ordering a Cobra Buckle style replacement for the original plastic part and that has proven as superior as metal is to plastic in any and all matrices.

One other thought, I've heard of people using chest rigs for all manner of outdoor sports. It occurs to me that, if you adjusted the H harness correctly, this bag would work very well as a chest rig. All of the pockets and flaps would be very suitable for this use case. I think I would , at the very least, buy a second H harness and keep one adjusted to fanny pack and one adjusted to chest rig. But I like the bag well enough that I wouldn't take too much pushing to buy a complete second rig, to have one for each use.

If you've made it this far, 5 stars. would buy again. keep in mind it may need repairs on some of the plastic bits.

I bought this as an experiment. I needed a larger size MOLLE pouch. There was really nothing out there that met the need. I saw this bag, and that it has MOLLE webbing on the back with the storage waste band....and I thought.....hmmmm, this might work. And it does. I have it mounted over my water bladder holder. It works. It is connected with five Blackhawk speed clips (#7 is the correct length). If you need some storage on your vest, this is it. You can see from the photos that it will hold enough food for 2 or 3 days, plus other essentials. It puts the weight on your lower back, so it's pretty much the ideal solution. The quality seems good. I'm pretty sure this will endure.

Went through a lot of bags on the web and finally finalized to this one for my best choice. It is for my first aid kit for home, travel, and in case of emergency. Nice size for moderate level first aid. It has lots of inner packets to organize stuff, and also it is tactical Molly bag so I can use some accessories attachment to hold some stuff outside the bag. Great choice. Considering to have another one for my day to day use as well.
